The Piazza d’Armi is the 250 sqm paved parade ground, used in the summer for outdoor events, connected to the garden by three large arches and with direct access to the Heraldic Hall and the kitchens and services of the Castle.

The underground cellars, that used to be connected to the center of the village, are built in stone that form the foundation of the castle and are connected to the castle tower and lead to the gardens of the village of Tavoleto.

Location

In the north of the Marche region, on the border with the Romagna Riviera, is the village of Tavoleto, “Castrum Tauleti”, with a castle dating back to 14th Century built to protect the borders of the Malatesta lands.

In the 15th century it was conquered and destroyed by Federico da Montefeltro who had the castle rebuilt by the architect Giorgio Martini, who also built the palace of Urbino and the fortress of Mondavio.

At the end of the 18th century it was destroyed by a fire and the Church State, which now owned these territories, ordered its demolition and reconstruction. In 1885 it was assigned to the Earl Pietrangiolini together with the surrounding territories. In the 1960s, it was bought and restored according to the design of the Montefeltro era. The current owners have continued the work of bringing it back to its original splendour.

Potentiality

The Castle is already used for weddings and other events. It is therefore ideal as a high-level facility such as Boutique Hotel.

In the main building it is possible to create rooms and suites of different sizes as well as a main apartment on the top floor. Depending on the size, up to 5 rooms can be obtained with bathroom on each floor.

However, nothing detracts from being able to allocate the Castle to a very prestigious and unique private residence.
